			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1725" title="phonecall" src="http://www.strugglinginvestor.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/phonecall-150x100.png" alt="phonecall" width="150" height="100" />It didn&#8217;t take very long, that is for sure!  I sent out the probate letters Tuesday at noon and the first call came in today while I was at work.  Unfortunately I can&#8217;t answer the phone at work (speaking of which I&#8217;ve got a question that I&#8217;ll ask later), so I called the guy back when I got home from work.  Was I nervous?  Yup!  The phone call went very quickly.  Not much was really said as my goal was to get an appointment to go see the house and that is exactly what I got.  This Sunday at 10am I&#8217;ll be meeting with the guy to show me the house.  1 down!</p>
<p>Want to hear something funny?  Now I can&#8217;t prove this but after the phone call I was checking out the stats on my blog (for some reason they have tripled the last two days) and I saw that someone searched for &#8220;Scott Costello 973-xxx-xxxx&#8221;.  I bet it was the guy from the house checking up on me.  No big deal as I have nothing to hide, but I found it funny.  He&#8217;ll just know that I&#8217;m relatively new at all of this if he read at all.  Transparency is a good thing as it breads trust.</p>
<p><strong>Voice Mail Message Question&#8230;</strong></p>
<p>For those that can&#8217;t always answer the phone, what sort of away message do you leave?  Just name and number or more?</p>

<p>As much as I loved Steve&#8217;s Wholesaling for Quick Cash course, this has the same quality but takes it a step further.  About 80% of the information is identical to his wholesaling course, which includes networking, property acquisitions, financing, etc&#8230;  The extra 20% is what makes this course unique.  Steve takes you through how to properly rehab a house.  After acquiring the property, this course walks you through the steps you must take to successfully rehab a house.  There are checklists to keep you organized as well.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not a rehabber so I haven&#8217;t gotten the most out of this course, but I can safely recommend it for any rehabber out there.   The best part about any of Steve&#8217;s courses is getting to know Steve Cook.  So buy his course, go to his free forums at <a href="http://www.flippinghomes.com">Flippinghomes.com</a> and start learning!</p>
<p>I just learned he is also offering an Upgrade package to this course for $39, so if you already have it, this might be worth your while.</p>

<p>Now don&#8217;t expect this manual to cover everything down to the finest of details.  Which is a good thing because getting down to those details will just bog you down and keep you from investing.  The point of <em>Wholesaling for Quick Cash</em> is to give you the steps to take so you are confident and ready to invest.</p>
<p>A few things that I wish it had though, but wouldn&#8217;t keep me from buying it, are the lack of example mailers and a how to on developing a squeeze page.   I will give Steve the benefit of the doubt as those two items are not in the scope of his criteria for finding sellers.  He mainly uses the MLS for REOs and networking to find his leads.   It still would have been nice to have.</p>

<p>As you guys probably have guessed I really admire Steve Cook and think his products are top notch.   I received Flipping Homes Profit Machine Intensive as part of a bonus for for attending one of his live events.  While the live event couldn&#8217;t be beat, these DVDs did a great job for less.  Actually he covered more material in the 5 day Flipping Homes Profit Machine Intensive then in the 3 day event I went to and they COST THE SAME!  It amazed me how much information he can cram into such a short period of time.   For the most part he really lays it out so a complete newbie could understand it.  There is a reason why he has so many students that attend his bootcamps over and over again.   I&#8217;ve been to one and I will be going back for his next training that is for sure!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-682" title="M_80.jpg" src="http://www.strugglinginvestor.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/M_80.jpg.png" alt="M_80.jpg" width="121" height="150" />This was one of the first products I bought as a wanna be investor.  My thinking was that if I could develop a business plan it would help keep me organized and focused.  I&#8217;ve never written a business plan before so I was never sure how to begin or even what to include.  Steve Cook&#8217;s <em>Real Estate Investor&#8217;s Business Plan</em> really helped me because it provided a detailed example that was geared towards investors.  Like many of you I have trouble, at first, applying and understanding concepts.   I need to DO before I can UNDERSTAND, and this product allowed me to do that.</p>
<p>When you purchase this item you might wonder what the Secret Sauce Audios are and maybe you won&#8217;t even listen to them at first because your main goal was to develop your business plan.  That would be a huge mistake as the Secret Sauce Audios are, in my opinion, the most valuable part of this product and really the most valuable purchase you can make.  It&#8217;s about living the life you want and becoming a true Lifeonaire.   I have trouble remember how many times that I&#8217;ve listened to this audio.</p>
