I have wanted to change the look of my blog for forever and could never find the time to actually do it. My idea was to design it on the side and then put it up one glorious day and surprise everyone. I realized that that was not going to happen.
So I decided to just bite the bullet and just start making the changes live. So you’ll see my new format and hopefully you can get a feel for what it’ll be like. My main goal is to organize all the content better.
Over the next month I’ll probably be making all the changes until I’m satisfied with how it looks.

Although altering a website and/or blog the most aesthetically please when doing all the changes on a development server, and then cutting that new development over to a live server… it is a pain in the butt. I just make changes to my live pages, making sure I back stuff up before I go tinkering.
I agree completely and have made a few runs at it in the past only to find that I don’t have enough time to do it correctly. As long as I keep my content up, I’m assuming readers won’t mind much.
